I am Smivs and 'smivsonline' is my home site. It has no particular purpose other than to extend my existence (and vanity?) into cyberspace, and as you've found it, I hope you enjoy what you find here. you will find an eclectic mix that reflects my interests. There's more about me and what I like, and a page about my much-loved car. There's a Jokes and funnies page which I hope you enjoy. There is also a recipe page featuring some of my favourite dishes, and a few links to other recipe sites I use.
"News and Events" is a 'What's on and what's cool' sort of page. Not always regular news, but things and events I've become aware of that I find interesting. Hopefully you will too, so take a look! I do occassionally mark anniversaries and 'Blog' (think out loud) there as well.
There are two pages of space pictures which I've collected via the internet over the years. The first contains images of galaxies and nebulae, and the other is devoted to images of the planets and moons of our Solar System.
Finally, there is a page relating to my favorite computer game 'Oolite'. This page contains information and download links for the Expansion Packs I have developed.
